I fell on my already injured shoulder pretty hard in scrimmage on Thursday and then I fell on it 2 more times for good measure…
Le suck. I NEVER fall on the other shoulder. Or maybe I do and it just doesn’t hurt, so I don’t really notice? I’ve got to learn to throw myself the other freaking way.
It’s hard to judge the Kinesio tape vs the brace after this. I feel like the kinesio tape was very supportive…and when I fall on it that hard, even the brace doesn’t help. As far as I can tell, the tape was doing its job…and, uh, it also made the blood pool in a more interesting way? I guess that’s fun. Riiiiiiiiight. So, we’ll have to give the tape another test run on a day when I’m not trying to do shoulder stands in the middle of game play. Hopefully that will NOT be happening this weekend in Nebraska.
I usually save that stupidity for scrimmage, though—as that’s when I like to test run all of the things I have no idea how to do. I test run them, fail, and then land on my shoulder. Because I’m awesome.
